1.喝啤酒可以長壽??

維吉尼亞理工學院的研究人員通過實驗得出了這個結果,定期適當喝啤酒的人,與一口啤酒不喝的人相比,在所調查的期間內死亡率低19 %。

(編註:當然要看實驗方法才能確認因果關係,不然也可能因為愛喝啤酒的人生性開朗等原因,不過至少看起來不是壞事!)

Sure, beer can also be horribly unhealthy if abused, but so can everything taken to the extreme. Hell, broccoli could probably kill you if you downed enough of it at once. A recent study found that a steady intake of booze makes you 31 percent less likely than those who don't drink to suffer from heart attacks, strokes or heart disease.
